Source-linked configuration dossier
ES&S EVS 6.4.0.0 / DS950
A separate source-linked dossier for the certified DS950 central-count scanner/tabulator, including firmware and hardware revisions, documented motherboard and storage changes, output-transport firmware, central-count cart, and certified UPS alternatives.
Network configuration evidence
Documented paths, controls, and unknowns
Expected, documented, and observed configurations remain separate. Physical port capability is not treated as an active connection.
The EVS 6.4.0.0 Pro V&V report states that DS950, DS850, and DS450 results were transmitted to the EMS through a closed local area network during accuracy testing. The EAC scope includes the central tabulator, Electionware infrastructure, and a minimum-1-Gb network switch, but it does not establish a jurisdiction's live switch, port, or addressing configuration.
This view publishes only the laboratory-supported closed-LAN result path and its source limits. It excludes IP addresses, credentials, keys, database details, switch settings, VLANs, hostnames, device identifiers, and site-specific routing.EVS 6.4.0.0 central-tabulator closed-LAN test path
Pro V&V tested DS950 result transmission over a closed LAN to the EMS. The EAC scope separately lists a minimum-1-Gb switch among certified COTS hardware. The public passages support the system-level path but not every physical connector or a field installation.
Closed local area network
Transmit central-tabulator result data - documented partialClosed local area network
Deliver transmitted result data to the EMS for compilation - confirmedThe VSTL report explicitly identifies the DS950 central-tabulator result path as a closed local area network.
The reviewed DS950 accuracy-test passage does not describe a public-network transmission path.
No jurisdiction switch, port, address, enabled-service, or cable record is established in this dossier.
No addresses, credentials, keys, database identifiers, switch settings, VLANs, hostnames, device identifiers, or site routing is collected or displayed.
The system-level figure contains many EVS components and paths. It does not prove that every component or connection is present in a DS950 deployment.
EAC scope PDF page 4, document page 3This is evidence of a laboratory test configuration and successful result transfer, not a jurisdiction deployment record.
Pro V&V test-report PDF page 30, report page 25Physical interface and switch map
The reviewed public pages do not enumerate the occupied DS950 connector, switch port assignments, addressing, VLANs, or enabled services for the test or a field installation.
System-level closed-LAN evidence must not be expanded into unreported operational details.Field-observed topology
No dated jurisdiction network diagram, interface inspection, or switch inventory was collected for a particular DS950.
A laboratory path is not a live observation.
